Large amounts of historic Microfilm held is related to areas like Pension Records and Drawings. Some of the latest versions of Pension Records Software will allow the attachment of a PDF files to the clients record therefore providing users access the data without the need for the original Microfilm. 

The Scanned Microfilm images will normally be reference by a unique title to allow the third party software to import the Data. For a recent project of 85,000 Microfilm Jacketed records they were indexed by the NI Number.
